One has to knit first in order to make/break the rules...having said that: thanks for sharing your experiences and reminding us to wave impatience goodbye! I have stitched things and crocheted things where my work has had to come out though and it is never fun. Took a look at the Fiona Coat and I'm in love with it! I don't break many knitting rules, mainly because I don't knit sweaters. You don't have to swatch for Hitchhikers and fingerless mitts that you've knit from the same pattern eight times! I have just ripped out a cast-on three times because I twisted the stitches when joining, but that was nowhere near a week's worth of knitting. Hoping you're into new yarn soon!Bonnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11608328439375705263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1195641087108033893.post-8036512877014850192016-01-11T17:36:31.000-05:002016-01-11T17:36:31.000-05:00Ouch :(. But you illustrated just how important it can be. I hope you're into "new" yarn on that first sweater, soon, I know how much better you will feel about it then.<br />Carolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09438414339444169303noreply@blogger.com
