Ten on Tuesday | I am...

…this week, Carole's invited us to share ten "I am…" statements. Here's mine:

I am writing cards and letters every day. It makes me happy to raise that flag on my mailbox each morning.

I am re-reading the Re-enchantment of Everyday Life.

I am hoping to finish Katie's sweater today.

I am looking for signs of spring (and sadly, finding none.)

I am swatching a new yarn for the shop … and dreaming about what I might knit with it.

I am drinking the second pot of coffee for the day.

I am looking forward to Katie's belated birthday dinner this weekend.

I am loving Sherlock (and feeling just meh about Downton Abbey.)

I am planning a trip to Florida to see my parents and looking for a good audiobook to keep me company on the 14 hour drive. Recommendations?

I am working through a long to-do list today, and glad this post was a quick one!

What are y'all up to?

Ah, the joys of an FO. Katie will have a new sweater for her birthday!
I swear they have taken all the joy from Downton.
The Goldfinch is 32 hours long and I thought it quite good...page turning good.

I LOVE Sherlock and am not even bothering to record Downton Abbey.
I am hoping to finish the Currant sweater I have been working on forever, but I'm not
sure enough of my success to enter an Olympics knit-along. Better success to you with Katie's sweater!

I have Sherlock recorded but haven't watched any of them yet. I haven't seen this weeks Downton - sounds like I will be disappointed. good for you getting things in the mail! Happy birthday to Katie!!!

I've been enjoying the signs of spring... that my daughter's been posting from Edinburgh! Flowering trees & blooming crocus! I don't think it's feeling terribly spring-like over there, but it's looking darn good.

I haven't even been recording Downton this year. I've enjoyed it measurably less each season and just wasn't feeling it this year from the get-go... from the sounds of it, I made a good decision. Sherlock, on the other hand... UGH! Only 3 episodes??? :)

The Invention of Wings is my favorite book of 2014. I'm also reading Still Life With Breadcrumbs which is good. Not sure if either of these are on Audible. What has happened to Downton? Choosing to watch a boring Super Bowl over that pretty much tells you what I think of this season.

I feel the same way: Sherlock is amazing, Downton...is pretty!

You mirror my feelings about Sherlock and Downton Abbey. Getting care packages off to the boys, almost done with another pullover :-), and making Valentines. Signs of spring-looking for those too!
