Looking Back | March.

...again through the lens of my daily photos (and the fatmumslim prompts). Here's what March looked like.

::There is definitely more color (and no black and white!)...lots of pink and even a little bit of blue sky.
::I'm getting out and about more. Five of the photos were inside my parents' house and 10 were inside mine, so over half were taken elsewhere.
::And I'm taking the photos throughout the day. One of the challenges I've had with following prompts is that I don't find anything that works and then I force it just before I go to bed. I think that happened only once, back on March 3 (the pink bag with my name embroidered on it).
::Also, I'm using more perspectives. There are photos looking up, and down, getting on the ground, close-up and far away.

Taking a closer look:
::From Where I Stand (2 photos) - rain (no more flip flops!) and back to the gym for Pilates.
::Other Selfies (3 photos) - all hands (!!!). It's been two months now since I've shared my face and must fix that.
::Knitting (8 photos) - six WIPs and two FOs...I'm definitely getting more creative about applying the prompts here! Last Saturday's purple linen lace on wooden needles was "sticky".
::Holly (2 photos) - she's always a popular subject; the one from two Monday's ago garnered 23 likes on Instagram (that's a lot for me!)
::Food & Drink (3 photos) - only three... probably because flowers and spring took up eight!

There were also three photos from my dad's hospital room; thankfully we won't be repeating that again!

Unfortunately, there is still no Project Life or One Little Word! I am definitely going to work on that this month. May is going to be crazy with graduation, Europe and a family get-together over Memorial Day. I'm afraid if I let those projects go another month, I'll never get caught up.

Also, still no people. That's another focus for this month. Starting today (yesterday is already done and you saw it...Holly!)

So - there you have it. I'll be back tomorrow with the truth about yesterday's post. In the meantime, have a great day...and if you want to leave a comment, please tell me: what was the best part about your March?

The first thing I noticed was the more color, more pink, more blue, more spring! The best part of my March was my birthday! Getting cards in the mail, having friends call, and eating my favorite chocolate cake!

I love days when I get my photo down first thing! It's hard, though, even after all these years. Great job for the month of March.

More color is wonderful! I'm especially entranced by blue skies and the purple scarf. I think the best part of my March was that it was finally time to plant some seeds.

that it's OVER! Seriously, we've hand some transformations outside the house and the dining room. Am thinking forward to a staycation in June or July and all that I'll be able to get accomplished.

Hi Mary! (Or "Mere" as my IG brain has been trained - wink wink) - very good observations. I am impressed with how committed you are to daily photo prompts. Part of me has been missing them as I feel uninspired some days to take photos. And I have been working towards a 365 day photo project which will come to an end at the end of June. Def get your "selfie" face in more pics. Your family will thank u. I cheat a bit and use filters to improve my selfies, but I am glad I have them. But u do have lovely hand selfies ;) . Nice blog, I will have to check back in. Hope u share on IG your Europe trip. I am keeping a little surprise in my back pocket to most people, but I get to travel to London in July with my hubby for a week. I. Cannot. Wait. Cheers! - Beth K.
