Getting Close.

...to two finishes! Fiona Coat and Hidden Figures. I'm sure I'll finish the book first, but hopefully the sweater coat will be a close second.

I started the book on my drive home Sunday; it's excellent. I've mostly been listening (Robin Miles' narration is wonderful) but I've read a few pages on my iPad, too. I'll have more to say about the book once I finish it.

The book has been the perfect accompaniment to round after round of ... sleeves. I pulled this project back out (after ten months of hibernation) just before Christmas, but all I did until the New Year was figure out where I was. Sleeve #1 took nearly two weeks and sleeve #2 is - thankfully - going much faster (probably because it's getting nearly all my knitting attention these days!)

Joining up again with Ginny. Head over to her blog for plenty of knitting and reading inspiration.

Happy Wednesday!

I do love that sweater, the colors are great together. We saw Hidden Figures last night and it was great but I'm sure the book is even better.

I love the sweater. It is going to look aazing when it's finished. Worth all the rounds upon rounds. I've not heard of the book. Another one to look up.

Your sweater is beautiful -- will be gorgeous when finished. Curious to hear your take on the book...it looks so good. I have it on hold on overdrive (I think I'm number 300-something on 4 copies!).

I'm not sure why this is . . . but the second sleeve ALWAYS goes faster for me. (Knitting Mystery) I really enjoyed the movie Hidden Figures -- but haven't read the book (yet). Love the sweater.

Love your Fiona Coat! And I'm not usually in touch with current movies but did recently hear about Hidden Figures on NPR. It sounds like an interesting story and one I would love to read.

I also love the colors in your Fiona Coat and I think Hidden Figures will be one of my next reads. Now I'll look forward to your book thoughts and seeing a wonderful finished sweater!

A screenshot! You're clever -- I never know how to show the books when I'm reading or listening to them on my phone. Your coat is gorgeous -- can't wait to see it finished.
