Eye Candy Friday | Another Morning in the Garden.

Any morning that starts with this view is bound to be a good one!

...and we ended with this. I taught Charlie the proper way to eat pizza - point first! He was a quick study đŸ˜‰

In between, we visited the Botanical Garden for Story Time and a quick walk to the big lawn for some exploring and camera practice.  Quite unlike our last visit, the sun was shining and the sky was clear and blue.

I used the 24-105mm f/4L lens (with a hood, but no filters). It's a little big - and heavy - for being out and about, but when it's just me and Charlie (no stroller, no diaper bag), it's manageable. I love how versatile it is!

The garden is really a fun place to practice. But of course, the best part is sharing it with Charlie!

Happy Friday!

  4. Great photos of an adorably cute Charlie! I admire Charlie's restraint around the fountain; my kids were the ones who always wanted to climb in and splash around to gather coins that had been thrown in.

  6. Charlie looks like a perfectly pleasant little boy -- happy, well-mannered, neat! (And adorable, to boot.) I love that he wears his sunglasses! (I bet he doesn't complain when you slather on the sunscreen, either.) He is growing up so fast, Mary! What a fun time you have together. XO

  8. Charlie must really love your excursions, not least, because they end (or begin) with pizza!

  9. Great excursion and what a delight to see Charlie! He's a cool l'il dude... Thx for the pizza-eating tip; one would think that I knew that considering how much I love pizza! But in a way, I guess I do intuitively - easier to hold from the wide end, as I think about it...duh!
    Cheers~
