Unraveled Wednesday.

Thank you all for your encouragement on yesterday's post. Happy to report I enjoyed another peaceful morning today.

Worsted weight lace (that's a size 9 needle) goes perfectly with twinkle lights and coffee!

Before I picked up the shawl, I bound off the body of Bodie and got it soaking. Now it's drying.

Next up sleeves, collar and pocket linings. I'm halfway through page 10 of the pattern; surely it's downhill from here!

On the reading front, I'm making slow progress on The Mirror Thief. I have just under 7 hours left, but I'd rather be listening to Christmas music 😊. And finally, I'm almost finished with One Man's Meat (thanks to a few hours of actual reading time yesterday - funny how that works...) I did finish the Jane Austen mystery and enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend for all Jane Austen fans.

Check out Kat's blog to see what others are knitting and reading.

Your sweater is going to be beautiful. Do you always wash and block the body before doing the sleeves?

Christmas is a lovely time to enjoy a peaceful morning with light, music, and a joyful heart. Bodie is beautiful! You'll have it done in no time. I am also loving my Brickyard. She's a wonderful designer.

Your shawl is a lovely color, even in the early morning darkness, and Bodie is beautiful. Early morning knitting and reading sounds so successful that you may be doing them by twinkle lights in July!

That shawl is going to be so wonderful! "Peaceful mornings" is not something I'll experience with any regularity for a long, long time... I'm way too much of a night owl, for one thing!! :)

Bodie is going to be (well, it already is, really) so gorgeous! And your shawl - love that color - festive and happy. Glad you are enjoying peaceful mornings. They make a world of difference for me.

OH I rarely break out the size nines but what a speedy knit to have on the needles. The hats I've been knitting are on eights and that feels quite fast!!

One of the first things I do when I come downstairs for MSQT is turn on the Christmas Tree lights...we leave them on all day until we go to bed at night...they do add a bit o' sparkle to the house and our lives...your sweater is going to be really nice and I love the color of the shawl. Do enjoy your mornings filled with peace. Peace friend.
Cheers~

Wow, looks like Bodie will be done just in time for really cold weather. One Man's Meat sounds like it will be a very interesting read!
