stockings.

...one of my favorite parts of this journal your christmas (aside from the very fun cutting and pasting every day!) is reliving the bits and pieces that make up my christmas tradition. Today's prompt was about stockings. In the photo to the right, mine is 3rd from the left - the same one I had as a child. Steve, Karen and I had matching stockings. All red and white flannel. With two little bells on the cuff. Santa left the filled stockings outside our bedroom doors - so our parents could grab an extra hour of sleep - and I am amazed even today that I never heard those bells jingling on christmas eve - not even once, not even a little. And you can bet I listened for it!
