Hello Monday.

My weekend looked a lot like this
which was wonderful (Saturday afternoon, my mom, sister and I met for lunch at a great new place downtown that specializes in football food and fun).

And then I stayed up way past my bedtime last night ... to finally finish rewatching season one of Gilmore Girls (21?!?!!! episodes - my how TV has changed...). yeah, there's no way I'm going to finish rewatching the entire seven seasons before Friday. at this point, I'm simply gonna skip to season seven and hope for the best.

And I set the knitting aside around episode 19 ... realizing there's really no way I'm going to finish No Tails for "Thanksgiving" either.

Dark early this morning, things still felt a little "no way". (yep, lists of lists :-)

But now, twelve hours later, I've made progress on those lists (except for radicchio, pearl onions and endive, which I know Charlie will love to get tomorrow at Whole Foods) and I even got to spend a little time with Sam.

Monday, you're definitely looking better!

Hoping your week didn't get off to a "no way" start - but if it did, hope it's looking better now!

I was able to get a lot done at work today which was good because it's a short work week and I don't want to stress out about getting payroll done and bills submitted. I'm glad you got stuff done today, too!

I'm glad to see Sam's eyes open! I was wondering if he slept quietly all the time, or just in the photos I've seen.

I've been so occupied by medical "stuff" that Thanksgiving has gotten very pared down this year by necessity. I was a little sad initially, but now I'm kind of liking my first "short list" holiday with only rolls, a pie, and stuffing to prepare on Wed. Hope you and Charlie have fun crossing things off tomorrow!

I found everything but cranberries at the Buford Highway Farmer's Market today, so that's one list that's pretty much done. Hopefully I'll find them at Publix on Friday. Work seemed productive too.

I had a mellow Monday after a little medical procedure in e morning. Spent the afternoon entertaining our mommy to be while her hubby taught a class. This is one active baby in no hurry to join us on this side of that belly.

Glad it improved as the day went on. Sometimes projects just have to wait their turn. And any day with the gorgeous Sam in it must feel warming :).

I'd say your Monday was a "cookin' with gas on all burners" type of day...and hooray for saying "no way" to our (always)self imposed deadlines. Love the photos of baby Sam...sweet. Carry on, "List Girl."

Thankfully, I have little to do for Thanksgiving and I did it all Saturday. Work has been busy, but what doesn't get done by 2:00 tomorrow just won't get done this week.
