Hello September.

Dear September,

Pumpkin Spice Latte (extra hot!) and knitting with wool (long sleeves, a hood and pockets!) - I love you!

- M.

p.s. I see a 6 in front of tomorrow morning's low temperature and an 8 in front of the high - if you could make that last for more than the weekend I'd be grateful. thanks!

p.p.s. please try to hold onto the daylight as long as you can.

  1. How could September refuse your requests when you've asked so nicely?! Enjoy your cooler temps., knitting, and Pumpkin Spice latte. I'm really going to have to try one of those someday, but for me right now it's knitting with a beer on the porch. Happy Weekend!

  2. Spice and knitting sounds very cozy :). I'm with you on the evening light - it was dark here by nine yesterday ....

  3. I know that Labor Day weekend is the end of summer for many people but I like to hold on to it until my birthday - and then I will declare it's fall and time for pumpkin spice everything.

  6. I am grasping the daylight hours very tightly. If only they didn't slip through my fingers so! My world does not contain anything pumpkin spice.

  8. I will hold on to summer through 9/21, although I do enjoy the cooler nights. I've been wondering how summer flew by so quickly!

  9. We don't have much color in the trees yet -just brown. Love Charlie in those glasses. Reads like you had a great weekend connecting with friends and knitting and just being "laid back." Good luck with the poncho and steeling.
    Cheers~
